Golden Gala: Senior Prom
Join us on Friday, May 22nd from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM for an unforgettable afternoon at our Golden Gala Senior Prom! Enjoy an elegant afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter, and wonderful memories with friends.
Dinner will be provided, so come ready to relax and celebrate in style. We invite everyone to dress in their best formal wear and dance the afternoon away beneath the golden glow of this year’s gala theme.
Don’t forget — we’ll also be crowning our Prom Queen and King during the celebration!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you at this sparkling afternoon of fun, friendship, and glamour.
Memorial Day Dance
Join us on Tuesday, May 26th from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM for an afternoon of music, dancing, and fun!
Since we are closed on Memorial Day itself, we’ll be celebrating the day after with a DJ playing great music for everyone to enjoy! Come dance, celebrate, socialize, and have a great time with friends. ❤️🤍💙
Everyone is encouraged to stay until 4:30 PM to enjoy dinner from the kitchen!

Travel Day- May 19th
Travel Day on May 19th
We will be heading to Paducah Ky to explore the Quilting Museum or the Hancock’s Fabric Store and then we will be reuniting for lunch at Patti’s 1800 Settlement. We will be leaving the center at 9am, and returning by 3:30pm. Participants will be responsible for the cost of their own admission and lunch.

Senior Board Metting
Our Senior Board Meeting will be taking place on May 14th at 3pm in Room 402. All are welcome to come!
Painted Pots Social
Participants will have the opportunity to paint and decorate their own flower pot using a variety of colors and simple designs—no artistic experience needed.
Light refreshments will be provided as you sip, socialize, and enjoy a fun, stress-free creative activity. This is a wonderful chance to unwind, connect with others, and make something special to take home.
All supplies are included—just bring yourself and a smile!

Hats off to Mom: Mother's Day Tea
Guests will have the opportunity to decorate their own stylish hats—perfect for wearing during our tea party and taking home as a keepsake. just bring your creativity and your sense of fun!

Lexcare Foundation- Free Hearing Screenings
Lexcare foundation will be at our center on May 6th and 7th 9am-2pm to do free hearing screenings!
Volunteer/Members Meeting
Our monthly volunteer/members meeting will be taking place in the 202 at 1pm on May 5th!
Movie Day!
We will be having a movie day in room 202 on April 30th, at 1:30pm. We will be serving sub sandwiches, drinks, and other finger foods. Sign up prior to the event is required so we can make sure we have enough for everyone! We will be watching Old Yeller this month!

Orthostatic + Balance Assessment
We have rescheduled our Balance Assessment class and will now be combining it with our Orthostatic Class for one comprehensive session!
Join us as we focus on improving balance, understanding changes in blood pressure when standing, and learning ways to stay safe and steady on your feet.
This will take place in room 402.
Annual Plants / Flowers Sale
Our Annual Plants & Flowers Sale Fundraiser brings the community together each spring to support Programs and Services at the Clarksville Ajax Turner 50+ Center; featuring a selection of seasonal flowers and potted arrangements grown by The Bloomery. The event offers high-quality plants for every skill level and garden space. All proceeds directly support Center activities, classes and social events that enrich the lives of older adults in our area. Please purchase before March 4th and enjoy knowing you’ve helped sustain the services that make our center a welcoming place.
